Stonham Barns Sunday Car Boot & Swedefest on 29th September 2024

Stonham Barns Car Boot - Bit disappointing on Sunday as the weather was great up till 11.30 but eventually the rain cleared us out. The Thursday Car Boot has stopped for the year as it’s getting wetter and gloomier in the morning. We’ll be back next year. This Sunday we have the popular Swedefest so expecting a great turn out plus the weather looks good. No booking as usual just turn up and sell from £6.

So expecting another great crowd Sunday plus we have 2 Sundays in a row with Shows on as well as the Car Boot.

Weather looking really great for Sunday and we have an amazing run of shows running at the same time as the car boot starting this Sunday with Swedefest. This is always a really popular show.

Covered stalls are available for any Sunday plus Bank Holiday Mondays - they offer a guaranteed spot on the main field close to food and toilets, have an overhead cover plus a table-top and are only £12. The Thursday Car Boot

As we move towards October the weather seems to be against us along with bad weather forecasts. I have decided to stop for the year and start again in 2025. We’ve had some great crowds and lots of dedicated sellers eager to make the Thursday work. We go again next year and we’ll advertise even more. It takes time to get a new Car Boot to start, which I know very well, having started the Sunday Car Boot some 15 years ago. We will persevere and go again next year. Again we will need the support of everyone that wants a Thursday Car Boot and that’s more the buyers as we have plenty of eager sellers.

Events at Stonham

Events run at the same time as the Car Boot so a bigger crowd always expected. The next is Swedefest on the 29th September followed by The Land Rover Show on 6th
