If you encounter anyone – whether online or in person – whom you suspect is being exploited by someone else, you can contact the UK-wide Modern Slavery Helpline for information, advice, or to report your concerns.
The helpline is independent and confidential and is run by a specialist modern slavery charity, Unseen. It is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and you do not need to give your personal details.

- May show signs of physical abuse, including bruising, scarring and cigarette burns
- The person may have a limited English vocabulary, restricted to sexualised words
