Fabio Scalia is a fully qualified Italian mother tongue tutor with more than 20 years of experience. He offers Italian lessons to a wide range of clients based in London. He has completed his PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in 2001 and been teaching full-time both in educational institutions and privately for over 20 years.

He offers a pro-active and rewarding approach to learning Italian based on the communicative method whereby the emphasis is on spoken interaction rather than theoretical practice. This is coupled with the pleasure to study at the student’s pace in the comfort of their home or office.

Whatever the requirements, Fabio is prepared to meet them with a tailor made training programme that will fulfil the learner expectations.

Courses

One-to-one and groups courses, either face-to-face or online are provided in

• Modern Italian

• Business Italian

• GCSE and most school exams

• University exams revision

• Italian for children and teenagers

In addition, intensive courses can be arranged both in London and Italy.

Levels

Courses can be set up from beginners to advanced levels and can range from purely conversation on a variety of subjects relating to Italian culture and society to covering particular grammar and lexical topics.

Availability

Lessons can be had from Monday to Friday between 7am and 10 pm and on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 8pm.

Areas

The London areas that can be covered include:

• Most locations within zone 1 and 2.

• Less central areas such as Wimbledon, Hampstead, Richmond or Canary Wharf.

Particular arrangements can also be made for other destinations.
