Description

We are working with a main contractor who are seeking to employ a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to add to their growing team in the Energy sector. As the Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for being the commercial lead on projects whilst promoting a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: * Negotiate the terms and conditions of subcontracts * Management and payment of specialist subcontracts and key suppliers * Coordinate any changes or amendments that may occur over the course contract, following the change process in accordance with this NEC 3/4 Option A & C contract * Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with the progress of the works * Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of changes to the budget What do we need from you? * 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor - preferable in the Civil, Pipeline or Infrastructure sector * BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course * Bid Knowledge * Excellent legal/contractual knowledge * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Valid UK driving licence The salary is indicative and based on experience
