Node.js Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Node.js Developer to be based in their Spalding, Lincolnshire office. As a developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining internal and external facing web applications. You will work with a team of experienced analysts, developers and business resources to build enterprise systems. Desirable/ Core Skills: - 5+ years of programming experience - 3+ years Node.js developer, including at least 3 years commercial experience using Node.js, with background in any e-commerce platform - HTML / CSS / JS - JavaScript (including jQuery and other libs/frameworks) - Deploying code (sonar cube desirable) - Bitbucket - Good knowledge of security when working with Rest API’s - Old tech for legacy systems - React - Jenkins - Umbraco or similar open-source CMS experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology - Knowledge of C# - Knowledge of Oracle applications - Drive and have access to a car Responsibilities: - Analysing system requirements - Writing scalable code for software applications. - Reviewing and debugging. applications. - Providing technical support for junior developers. - Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications.
