Primary Responsibilities * Inspection of both finished and in-process composite components * Writing of inspection programs within the Polyworks Metrology Suite * Geometric validation of jigs, patterns, moulds and components * Communicate quality assurance reports to internal manufacturing teams in a clear and concise manner * To demonstrate a flexible and understanding approach to the department’s needs * To meet the requirements and demands of the busy periods * To work proactively, responsibly and professionally always and to respect and comply with the company’s reporting structure * To maintain and develop skill levels to industry standard. Skills & Knowledge Required * Previous experience within a composite manufacturing environment * A thorough understanding of Polyworks Metrology Suite * Experience working with Romer Arms and Laser Trackers * An understanding of detailed technical drawings * Ability to interpret layup tables * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Good understanding of engineering processes * Methodical and thorough approach to your work * Demonstrate a flexible attitude towards working hours * Ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales * To communicate effectively, positively and respectfully with all colleagues * To have a flexible attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a demanding and rapidly changing environment * Be results orientated and be confident in your decision-making skills * Be enthusiastic and versatile and be able to build, develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues * Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety If you're interested
