IT Project Engineer – Ringwood - £36,000 - £40,000 DOE. Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and rapidly growing IT Solutions company? Our client is looking for an IT Project Engineer to join their team in Ringwood. As IT Project Engineer you will be responsible for delivering dynamic and reactive single day projects, configuring, and installing network hardware, configuring new users, delivering MS365 solutions and overseeing data migrations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a broad range of technologies, both in the cloud and on premise, covering core services like cabling, networking, (VLANs), MS365, ERP and will have experience of rapid deployment and agile approaches. You must be highly motivated, with a desire to gain exposure to the very latest in business enabling technologies. This role is based in Ringwood but you will be required to attend sites as required to address customer needs and agreed service levels. Roles and Responsibilities: * Delivering single day projects and providing support on escalated tickets from the support desk. * Managing your schedule day to day to ensure project deadlines and continuing to assist with service requests and act as a point of escalation for the support desk. * Managing the life cycle of a project to ensure that the customer receives an excellent experience. * Attending site to resolve reported issues, install hardware and appropriate cabling. * Providing advanced support in networking, infrastructure and Wi-Fi. * Escalation of cases when required. * Updating of all support case information as required on a timely basis. * Updating all support, project and customer documentation where required.
