Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer Up to £55k DOE plus company package Location: Nottingham About the Company: Our client leans on over 30 years experience as they grow to be a leading SME developer. They focus on building sustainable homes to an excellent build quality always putting the customer first. They not only want to build homes but communities. About the Role: Our client is currently looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor. At present they are expanding their business and have many new projects starting in the Nottingham area. Your duties will include but not limited too: * Prepare draft budgets and site start budgets for each project assigned to the Quantity Surveyor. * Generate quarterly valuations and conduct material “cost to complete” assessments for each site under the Quantity Surveyor’s responsibility. * Process sub-contract payments and final accounts, ensuring they are signed off by the sub-contractor. * Create sub-contract orders, ensuring they are authorized by the designated representative and include all necessary documentation to comply with Group Commercial Policy. * Manage cost control and monitor changes effectively. About the benefits / rewards: The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits. Requirements: * Degree preferred * Performed a similar role within the construction industry * Current CSCS card or equivalent is desirable * A keen interest in construction * Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team * Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines * IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems * Committed to diversity and inclusion
