This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the South West's fastest-growing software providers. Based in central Bristol, you'll have the option to work from both their new offices and from home. You'll be part of a busy finance team and a business with ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the CFO. Key responsibilities and duties: Supervise small Finance team. Produce monthly management accounts. Maintain the accounting system, including processing all customer and supplier transactions. Manage company cash, including short term cash flow forecasting. Manage the year end process and liaise with accountant. Fulfil statutory duties, including VAT, statutory accounts and pension scheme management. Produce policies and procedures as appropriate to ensure a formal framework for the Finance Function and its interactions with non-Finance staff. Maintain third party relationships, including external accountants, bank representatives, pension scheme representatives, customers, suppliers, legal representatives and insurance brokers, as appropriate to role. Undertake project work as appropriate – this may cover areas such as contract negotiation, systems evaluation, sourcing of suppliers and identifying areas for improvement in company performance.
