Temporary Accommodation Officer

The role As with many other Boroughs in the capital, tackling homelessness is a high priority. We are recruiting for 5 permanent and 1 fixed term Temporary Accommodation Procurement Officers. Who will be focusing on particular areas within the team. 3 permanent roles be required to source new business to increase the supply of properties based on the demand by building relationships with landlords, agents and developers. Under the Council’s Leasing and Lettings Schemes. This will involve, property inspections, landlord liaison, offering of accommodation, and tenancy support. Along with 2 permanent roles and 1 fixed term two-year contract to manage bookings of emergency temporary accommodation, allocation of temporary accommodation, discharging duty and inspections of nightly paid accommodation. You will be joining a busy and hardworking team during a time of transformational change where every day offers an opportunity to make a positive difference.
