Production Manager - Fabrication Welding

Due to a continued business growth and invenstment, we are currently recruiting an experienced Production Manager to join a our prestigious client in Sheffield on a permanent basis. The business are highly regarded as leaders in the design, manufacture and supply of equipment to a variety of industries including Nuclear, Oil and Gas and Power Generation. Successful candidates will be time-served with a demonstrable background working within a similar role with a strong understanding of standards required within the above sectors. Candidates will be will be responsible day to day running of the fabrication department ensuring employees work in a safe and effective way and that planned work is completed correctly and on time. Hours - Monday – Friday (Apply online only) Job Description : * Manage the day to day running of the Fabrication Shop. Assisting with technical aspects of jobs in all disciplines when required to do so * Ensure all equipment required to carry out work effectively is available, and that equipment is maintained in good working order and meets with all necessary QA and H & S compliance * Ensure that all work areas are kept clean, tidy and well organised. * Ensure working procedures are followed at all times and that each job has the correct material, tooling, technical information, paperwork and that all previous operations have been signed off.
