Teaching Assistant

At NYKays Recruitment Ltd we are recruiting for experienced, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to start ASAP, working day to day or long-term contracts which could possibly lead to a permanent position. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to support schools in the delivery of exemplary teaching and learning, by supporting the Class Teachers in day to day activities. Responsibilities include: * Supporting teaching and learning for children as a whole class, small groups or individual basis * Providing day to day support to Teachers in teaching and learning * Preparing of learning resources in liaison with Teachers. * Assisting in the creation of effective displays * Working effectively alongside other teaching and support staff to ensure a safe and productive work environment is maintained. * Adhere to the Schools policies including Safeguarding, Child Protection, Behaviour Management, Health and Safety. Requirements: * Experience working as a Teaching Assistant. * A commitment to working with children and adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures. * Ability to adapt and respond to children needs and plan accordingly * Be able to creatively contribute to the development of the students * Register the attendance of and supervise learners before, during, or after school sessions as appropriate * Work collaboratively with others to develop effective professional relationships * Must be dependable, punctual, and hardworking * Candidates should have a high standard of spoken and written English and mathematics. * Be good and effective communicators with children and adults * Be friendly, approachable, flexible and adaptable * Be able to work on your own initiative with good time management skills.
