As a result of continued success and an ongoing programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced, proactive and practical NPI Engineer to complement their committed and professional Electronics NPI team. Reporting to the Technical Director, the successful NPI Engineer candidate will join an integral team directly responsible for a range of activities that will include (but not be limited to): Being the technical lead for all aspects of New Product Introduction (NPI) Developing and operating a formal NPI process and recording system Providing support in the technical development of custom product solutions within the technical team ensuring smooth and timely transfer of completed projects to manufacturing. Providing pre-sales technical assistance for Electrical applications and formulating technical aspects of BOM's and assisting with production assembly instructions where required. Inputting data to the company ERP system in support of the technical department Liaising with Customers, suppliers and other internal departments as required Assisting with authoring product specifications and instructions as well as with after- sales support services and providing technical assistance as required Managing the preparation of technical reports in support of projects and to other departments as required, and representing the Technical team as required at Customer Meetings.
