Senior Veterinary nurse

Exciting Opportunity! Are you an experienced Veterinary Head Nurse looking to take on a more advanced role, or ready to step up in your career? Location: Surrey Salary: £34,000 – £37,000 per annum Key Responsibilities: This is a dual-role position encompassing both clinical and administrative duties. As Clinical Nurse Lead, you will: * Manage a team of 15 nurses, providing leadership, wellness support, and guidance on professional development. * Conduct probation reviews, performance appraisals, and oversee CPD (Continuing Professional Development) and career progression. * Facilitate smooth patient flow by coordinating with veterinary surgeons and triaging patients. * Support the Head Nurse in team management and be a key contributor to overall team wellness. Note: You will not be responsible for scheduling rotas. Hours: * Full-time position (40 hours per week) inclusive of lunch breaks. * Working hours alternate weekly between: * 7:00 am – 3:00 pm * 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm Requirements: * Proven senior nursing experience, ideally in a leadership or Head Nurse role. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment. * Passion for patient care and the professional development of your nursing team.
