Business Tutor We are seeking a Business Tutor (SFEDI) Permanent role Monday to Friday 37 hours per week Near Greenwich, London Free Parking Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Fridays 8am to 1pm This is to join the educational team within the Offender learning sector. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute positively to the lives of learners, aiding them in improving their own lives and making an impact on their local community. As a Business (SFEDI) Tutor based on site, you will be pivotal in nurturing the learner’s entrepreneurial spirit and guiding them in acquiring the skills necessary to set up and run successful businesses. DUTIES * To deliver engaging and tailored business studies lessons, focusing on the SFEDI standards for enterprise and entrepreneurship * Empowering learners with the knowledge and skills to understand business operations and management * Creating a supportive and motivational learning environment that encourages learner engagement and success * Monitoring learner progress, providing feedback, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs * Collaborating with a dedicated team that values educational excellence and staff wellbeing ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE * A teaching qualification or subject specialist qualification at level 4 or a (Level 5 – new standards) with a commitment to obtain the relevant outstanding qualification within a specified timeframe * Demonstratable track record of effective teaching in business studies, with a focus on SFEDI standards BENEFITS * £30,722 to £37,059 per annum (Inclusive of London Weighting allowance) * Teachers’ Pension Scheme * Mileage paid * 37 hours per week * Generous holiday entitlement * All equipment is provided to complete the role * Development opportunities through our own in-house programs and recognised qualifications
