Description

We are working with a main contractor who are seeking to employ a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to add to their growing team in the Utilities sector. As the Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for the commercial success of the projects whilst being involved in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities: * Negotiate the terms and conditions of subcontracts * Management and payment of specialist subcontracts and key suppliers * Coordinate any changes or amendments that may occur over the course contract, following the change process in accordance with this NEC 3/4 Option A & C contract * Undertake site visits to administer the contract in line with the progress of the works * Work with the project team to evaluate the impact of changes to the budget What do we need from you? * 1-3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor - preferable in the Civil, Pipeline or Infrastructure sector * BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar commercial related course * Bid Knowledge * Excellent legal/contractual knowledge * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Valid UK driving licence The salary is indicative and based on experience
