Finance Assistant

This well-established and growing organisation based in Farnham is looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team. You will be joining a reputable organisation that is experiencing a fantastic period of growth and is now recruiting this new role into their finance team. This role can be offered on either a full time or part time basis (30 hours a week). There are also opportunities for flexible/hybrid working and it would be a great role for someone with previous accounts experience looking for their next role. You will be supporting the daily running of the finance function and your key responsibilities will be: * Processing invoices into the system and reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders * Liaising with suppliers regarding any queries and setting up new accounts * Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries * Process business expense returns * Assist in the BACS payments run process * Completing finance processes relating to purchase requisition orders and invoices * Ensuring all finance admin is organised correctly The successful Finance Assistant will have: * Previous experience in a finance role would be ideal but entry level candidates will be considered * Good Excel skills * Ability to communicate at all levels Howett Thorpe are acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role and comply with all relevant UK legislation and do not discriminate on any protected characteristics.
