Following a road traffic accident in 2021, Freddie experienced a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), resulting in left-sided hemiplegia, significant fatigue, and cognitive challenges with attention and concentration. He also faces some speech and language difficulties and significant anxiety, particularly around school. Freddie is currently being assessed for Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) due to periods of very low food intake. He’s articulate about his feelings and is open about how he’s doing.
