Description

We are working with our client who are an Oil & Gas equipment manufacturer based in the North East of England. We are assisting the client in the search for a CNC Turner on a full time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for setting, programming and operating machines to produce product of the required quality standards and specification. Responsibilities * Programming and operating machines to produce products to required tolerances and specifications * Using a range of materials including Non-Ferrous, Aluminium, Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Titanium * Using a variety of measuring equipment such as micrometres, verniers, plug gauges, screw plugs and ring gauges * Increase your knowledge and train on other machining processes Person Specification * A time served CNC Machinist with relevant turning experience * FANUC or Mazatrol setting / programming experience * Experience of working in a CNC Machining / Industrial Engineering environment * Will be willing to learn, pass on knowledge and train others * Flexible in their approach – willing to do overtime when required to suit customers’ requirements Benefits * £36k-£45k annual salary * Day shift (the option of night shift is available, although not immediately, plus a shift allowance) * Pension * 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays * Paid overtime
