About the role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in supporting students with challenging behaviours. This full-time, long-term role is perfect for someone who is patient, resilient, and eager to make a real difference in the lives of children who need extra support to succeed in their learning. You will work closely with both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students, providing tailored support to those who present challenging behaviours due to a variety of social, emotional, or mental health (SEMH) needs. Your role will involve assisting in the classroom, working one-to-one with students, and supporting small group interventions to help students engage with the curriculum in a meaningful and supportive way. You’ll collaborate with class teachers, the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other specialists to implement personalised learning plans and behaviour management strategies.
