Description

Electrician required for our client who currently design, supply & install rooftop solar systems for the commercial sector. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Electrician, based out of the Cambridge/Bedford or Hertford area. Previous experience with Solar PV is preferred. Package: * £40,000+ starting salary per annum * Bonus package (6k) * 22 days holiday * Bupa healthcare * Company Pension * Use of company Van * All expenses paid when a stay away is required including a meal allowance Duties: * Install, configure, and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components according to design specifications * Perform electrical wiring, conduit installation, and connection of solar PV systems to existing electrical systems. * Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to solar panel systems. * Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met. * Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment. * Maintain accurate records of installations, including documentation of equipment, materials used, and work performed. Qualifications: * Level 3 NVQ Electrical installations * 18th Edition * 2391 test and inspection * Previous experience in solar panel installation or renewable energy projects is preferred
