Toolmaker * Neg / Comp Salary (doe) * Daytime Hours – 37.5 hours * Reputable company * Great working environment Our client based in Burnley is an expanding company with an excellent reputation within precision engineering. They have enjoyed a steady growth in clientele and have established a strong order book with a promising future. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Toolmaker. The purpose of this role is to work independently to produce bespoke tooling for a range of customers from drawing to completion without the requirement for pre-set programmes but will also be able to work with the team as required for larger projects. Key Duties Include: * Manufacture, modify, repair and maintain extrusion tooling and associated equipment. * Milling, Turning, Grinding, XYZ semi C.N.C machines & Benchwork. * Maintain all necessary records i.e., Tool Trials, Job Sheets etc. * Ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards. * Maintain all H&S and Environmental standards. To be considered for this position the successful candidate must have; * Previous Toolmaker experience * Must be proficient on Manual Lathes, Manual Milling Machines, Surface Grinders * Reading of Engineering drawings and GA's. * Knowledge of geometric tolerances * Experienced with varied materials including Steels and Aluminium.
