South Wiltshire - Software Test Engineer - 35k to 45k - Audio Systems

My client is a well established audio system design company. They manufacture a multitude of household sound devices from amplifiers to CD players. They are looking for a Software Test Engineer with an interest in music/audio technology to join their expanding software development team. Main Duties: +Working closely with the Software Development team to develop test plans to identify issues and ensure compliance with product specifications. +Assisting the production team with the development of cutting edge features and platforms. +Regression testing on existing products. +Learning and utilising existing test automation procedures. Skills and Experience Required: +Proven experience testing software (embedded systems would be advantageous). +Comfortable with Linux +Experience with logic analyser, oscilloscope, multimeters and python programming is beneficial, but not essential. +A degree in an audio/engineering discipline or a demonstrable passion for audio and audio systems would be advantageous. The salary for this position will be circa 35k to 45k depending on the experience of the candidate.
