Progress Teachers are supporting a local mainstream secondary school to appoint an experienced and inspirational MFL Teacher with a specialism in Spanish to deliver expert teaching and learning opportunities across KS3 & KS4. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting pupils to make academic progress in MFL, whilst also developing a love for languages. Responsibilities: * Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver engaging MFL lessons which provide pupils with meaningful opportunities to develop their receptive and productive skills in the French language. * Assessment and Feedback: Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, maintaining accurate records of outcomes for reporting and analysis. * Classroom Management: Manage classroom behaviour effectively through the consistent use of the School's behaviour policy. * Wider School Responsibilities: Engage and actively participate in wider professional responsibilities such as lunchtime duty, parents evenings, and transition open evenings as required by the School. Qualification Requirements: * Teaching Qualifications: A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) with a focus on MFL is highly advantageous, however, experienced non-qualified teachers will also be considered for the role. * Subject Knowledge: A degree in French / Francophone Studies or a related field, with a strong understanding of effective approaches to language
