Role Overview: As the workshop engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day repairs in the workshop in Biggleswade. You will be part of a team of skilled technicians, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and high-quality repairs. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining equipment's reliability and supporting customers' needs globally. Key Responsibilities: * Repair, overhaul, diagnostics and servicing of machinery. * Pre Delivery Inspections of machines. * Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to maintain operational efficiency. * Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed. * Liaise with other departments to coordinate repair schedules and ensure customer satisfaction. * Maintain accurate records of repairs, inventory, and maintenance activities. Requirements: * Proven experience in a heavy plant or earthmoving equipment repairs workshop. * Strong technical knowledge of machinery and equipment. * Excellent communication skills. * Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively. * Commitment to safety and quality standards. * Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are desirable. * Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
