The Role Reporting into the Senior Business Manager, the Account Manager will project manage contracts with key customers. Understand customer requirements including specification, volumes, schedule and material requirements. Liaise with external and internal stakeholders, customers and suppliers. Build robust relationships to ensure effective management of the contract. Main duties include: * Effective communication with the customer and proactive management of any issues. * To develop long term relationships and service offerings through opportunity-based initiatives. * Develop and maintain key relationships with at multiple levels with the customer. * Lead regular contract and performance reviews with the customer to monitor service performance together with the production of KPI’s, meeting minutes and proactive management of actions. * Initiate and lead improvement initiatives. * To learn and understand the technical, operational and material requirements for bogie overhauls. * Manage team members and develop their skills and capability. * To work closely with other members of the Contracts Management team and support as required. * Ensuring the timely availability of all required materials. * Facilitation of both Incoming and outgoing logistics of the rolling stock * Ensure transactional processes are completed in a timely manner. * To drive the use of the company ERP system at all levels ensuring system inputs ar
