Warehouse Assistant Van Driver

Red Recruitment Group urgently require an experienced, office Customer Service Assistant / Van Driver for our National client in Aylesford, Madstone. Our cient is looking for candidates who are experienced in warehouse work, and delivery driving, with a 3.5 tonne long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter. Also having a proactive and professional attitude. You will also be required to perform delivery duties as part of your role as a cover van driver when permanent drivers are off on annual leave, with the occasional requirement to help out in the office. Driving a long wheel based Mercedes Sprinter type van. Manual handling products into clients premises, and gaining proof of deliveries as you go. Offering a positive customer service attitude at all times. A clean licence would be preferred, however minor points up to 6 are acceptable. No previous IN / DD / DR / CD convictions will be accepted for insurance reasons. Drivers must also be aged 25 and over. Candidates with an automotive background would be ideal, although not essential to be successful with this opportunity. Working hours are 08:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with every other Saturday morning 08:00am to 1:00pm plus overtime. The role is 2 weeks temporary to permanent . Weekly paid during the temporary assignment period, monthly paid when permanent. On site interview with the position available to start as soon as possible.
