How are sex workers dealing with coronavirus?

With the global news coverage surrounding COVID-19, we’re sure you’re already fully aware of what coronavirus is.

If not, COVID-19 is an illness that can affect your respiratory system (notably the lungs and airways). It’s caused by a virus called coronavirus.

According to the NHS, typical symptoms include a cough, high temperature and shortness of breath.

Although it is not yet 100% clear whether the virus can spread through bodily contact, experts have warned that “the virus can spread from “close contact” with someone.

The threat of coronavirus has meant that many industries have been impacted, including the sex industry and the livelihood of many sex workers.
