Would you like to try acting and drama? You can with the Swarthmore Drama and Performance Group.

Let our experienced team of leaders develop your drama skills within our friendly and welcoming group.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced we all have lots to learn, share and create together.

Everyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join in the fun of the drama workshops, regardless of background, experience or acting ability.

Our emphasis is on having fun and working together on the practical aspects of drama.

There will be introductory drama warm-up exercises, drama games and improvisation aka improv activities.

Working in small groups you can devise drama pieces from scratch to perform to each other plus there will be script work and voice, movement and mime activities.

We have a lively social program outside term time and there is the option to do public performances in our annual panto and sketch show.

We will be meeting at the Swarthmore Education Centre, Woodhouse Square, Leeds LS3 1AD on Thursdays from 19:30 until 21:30. Our first Thursday will be the 26th September.
